It's National School Librarian Day! Thank you to Mrs. Rhode for making the library such a wonderful part of the John Harris Elementary community!

Congratulations to all 4th grade students that participated in yesterday's Free Throw Finals! Congratulations to our first, second, and third place winners! Students displayed excellent sportsmanship and positive attitudes!

Last Friday was our PBIS March Madness celebration! Members of the WHS girls' team and the LHS boys' team joined JHE students in a morning of fun and friendly competition. Coaches from the teams emphasized the HERO skills that our students live daily.

4th grade invited other students and their families into our classrooms on Friday for a ‘World’s Fair.’ They wanted to share their research and Google Slideshows on the countries of the world! We are so proud of all of their hard work!

It was such a pleasure to have Ben Reifel Music Groups perform at John Harris last Wednesday afternoon! Thank you to the students and the directors. JHE loved the performances!

Look at that gumball machine! John Harris students and staff have been working very hard to fill that gumball machine up. We currently have read 54,460 books. We still have until March 31st to get to the top! Keep on reading Hurricane Heroes! We can do it!

As we enter the fourth quarter, it is amazing to reflect on the growth students have made so far this year. We are proud of our readers, artists, writers, musicians, mathematicians, scientists, and athletes!

There was a great turnout at All Pro Dad this morning. It's hard to believe there are only two more this school year!
