For more than a month, John Harris staff worked as "gift giving teams" to collect items to donate. The teams dressed up as "Christmas movies" on Friday and yesterday students voted for their favorite picture. Congratulations to the Home Alone team for collecting the most votes!

John Harris families, the Last Chance Lost & Found is now open for students and families to search. It will be open today, Monday, and Tuesday and is located right outside of the main office. There are many sweatshirts, coats, gloves, and hats. Thank you for helping us find the clothes' rightful owners:) Clothing not picked up will be donated during Thanksgiving Break.

Students learned a little about the election process today by visiting the John Harris Polling Place! Students voted between a silly hat day for students and staff or a staff inflatable race! Students received an "I voted" sticker after voting. Hurricane Helpers counted up the votes and announced the winning activity: A staff inflatable race!

The JHE HERO breakfast was added to our PBIS system in the Spring of 2022 as an additional way to recognize students that have exemplified the John Harris CORE values (Helpfulness, Excellence, Respect, Ownership). Last Friday was our first HERO breakfast of the 24-25 school year! Nominated by staff members, these students became recipients of the "Honorable Harris HERO" award.
