After months of planning, collaborating, and building, John Harris Elementary hosted "Putts for Paws" on May 10th. This event raised 2,400 dollars for three local animal rescue groups, provided a multitude of learning experiences for students, and served as a fun activity for the school community.
Mr. Dixen and Mrs. Hage played key roles from the start, brainstorming ideas of what an event like this could look like. 5th grade ULE students dreamed big and learned many skills through the process of creating these mini-golf holes. It was so much fun to see classrooms team together to paint and decorate the holes.
Thank you to all the staff, students, families, and volunteers that made this wonderful event possible!
