Fun Space Fact: Did you know that astronauts need to exercise an average of 2 hours in space each day? They run and lift weights to keep their bodies healthy. Of course, lifting weights and running looks different in space because there is no gravity!


Our Wow Wednesday this week highlights our PTA Fun Run. The students and staff are doing an amazing job! Thank you PTA for organizing this event and Mr. Q for facilitating this event! Thank you family and friends for your encouragement and gracious donations! Students and staff are excited for a future outdoor classroom!

K01 students participated in the Fun Run yesterday! Here is a quick peek as they entered the gym to begin. They were all ready to go!

Junior Kindergarten students are working on social skills and beginning coding skills to get the goat from the barn to the mound of flowers.





Did someone say “BONUS Prize!” Oh, yes, it was us! Our school community has been working hard over the past few days to help us reach our goal of $25,000. To say “thank you” (and help us keep raising funds), we’ve got a BONUS PRIZE for students to earn THIS WEEKEND ONLY by getting donations.
❗️$60 in donations or $2/lap this weekend will earn a boulder ball extra prize.

Fun Space Fact: What are Mars Rovers? Over the years, NASA has sent five robotic vehicles, called rovers, to Mars. The names of the five rovers are: Sojourner, Spirit and Opportunity, Curiosity, and Perseverance.


This week's Wow Wednesday takes a peek into Mrs. Stevens' classroom. Students are dino stomping their sight words using the read, spell, read process. Learning is fun!

SFSD would like to give a huge shout-out to our partners at Delta Dental who visit schools to complete much-needed dental work for eligible students! Cleanings, cavities, and root canals are all done in the mobile bus, so students don’t have to miss school for an appointment! You put a smile on our faces, Delta Dental! Thank you!

Fun Space Fact: Do foods taste different in space?
Yes! Have you ever had a cold? Tasting food while in space is kind of like eating when you have a cold. Foods taste blander, so astronauts like to eat spicy food in space. Astronauts add spices(salt and pepper that is liquid) or spicy sauces to give their food more taste.


This week's Wow Wednesday takes a peek in classroom 104. Students are learning about collecting and organizing data. Look at those mathematicians in action!
