Ahoy! Students in 2nd-5th grade have been working on throwing accurately at targets in the gym. "Battleship" is a favorite game to practice this skill! Teams worked together to guard their pins to keep their ship afloat. Rescue boats (scooters) gathered balls to bring back to their ships. Each ship tried to sink enemy ships by knocking down their pins. Many laps were ran for stepping off ships or sunken ships!
Friday ended with the Fun Run fundraising celebration...dropping staff members into a dunk tank! A handful of people who weren't planning on getting wet surprisingly found themselves in the dunk tank. Here are some of the pics/video snapshots of our celebration! Thanks to Jami Bishop for helping us cap off the fundraiser with this great activity.
Yesterday, the 5th grade Hurricane Helpers delivered a treat to all staff to celebrate World Smile Day!
